Rosie traveled to Hartpury recently for this years Blue Chips! She had a great time and all of the horses went brilliantly. Jenny Verity's awesome little horse Weston came 8th in the speed class on the first day, and then finished up 4th in the Halsall Elecrtical Grand Prix Championship. He jumped beautifully in a very competitve jump off. Claire Houlders Warner Robins finished up 6th in this class, having been placed 9th in the performance championship. The other championship placing was Richard Sellicks Gold 11, this 6 year old did really well to finish 14th in the Star Championship against much more experiended horses. Weston then competed successfully at Crofton Manor the following day, coming 2nd in the 1m30 class over a tough and up to height track. Exciting Equine Pathway news! 12/09/2011
Rosie has a selection of young horses attending the viewing days for the Equine Pathway Scheme! The purpose of the Pathway is to identify horses that have the potential to develop into medal winning horses, the Programme will then work with and support the riders and the owners of the horses in order to help them maximise the horses' potential. It is also hoped that the Programme will encourage owners to keep their horses with British riders and will enhance GBR's chances at the 2012 Olympic Games and beyond. Rosie and Weston were placed 7th after a fantastic round in the 'Horsetack Saddlery Tour' at the Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular today. The competition was tough and the rounds were fast, they are now in a good position for the Superflex Grand Prix tomorrow. Look out for Rosie next weekend she will be competing at the Hartpury Spectacular on Friday and Saturday with Jenny Verity's superstar Weston! Rosie had a very sucessfull trip abroad with Weston last week to compete im the Dunkirk International. Weston achieved 2 placings in the CSI 2 star classes and won a bottle of champagne for jumping the joker fence in the accumulator! The British Young Horse Showjumping Championships took place at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre last weekend, Rosie took two horses from the team; Carnaval Gem and Weston. 'Carnaval Gem came joint first in both his preliminary rounds, qualifying for the Four year old final for British bred horses. He had an unlucky four faults in the final but jumped well for his first major competition! Weston jumped well in both preliminaries qualifying for his final. However I didn't jump him in the final, feeling he wasn't ready to jump the height just yet. Both horses were fab!' Post Title. 07/28/2011
Little Weston, owned by Jenny Verity made his first appearance at The Newforset Show. He jumped clear in the Hampshire stakes, then had an unlucky 4 faults in the Horse of The Year Show qualifier. Due to the sale of Utah Lymore Weton is now the most experienced horse on the team. Utah Lymore will be greatly missed, I was so lucky to have been able to ride a horse as kind and scopey as Utah. I wish his new owners every success with him and hope that we hear of him doing great things in the future. Altech is supplying me with lifeforce for two of the competition horses. Lifeforce is a feed supplement which helps support the horses digestive and immune system- ideal for the busy competition horse as well as all other equines. | Rosie Moss
